Making Lives Better

What We Do

Working in Partnership

Halesworth Volunteers work with many local community groups and organisations.  That means that if we can’t help you, we know someone who can.

Social Activities

Our programme of social activities including tea parties and trips out would not have been possible without the support of the Pear Tree Centre and Maureen and Rose at the Coop Café.  We are particularly grateful to the fantastic team at HACT who provide the Hoppa bus and make these trips possible.

Compassionate Communities

The Pear Tree Centre are leading the wonderful Compassionate Communities Project, working with Kinda Education, the Blyth Valley Team Ministry and many others this project looks at ways that we can think and talk about death and dying as well as providing support to people facing bereavement.

Bungay Community Support

Halesworth Volunteers are proud to support BCS as they move towards becoming a charity in their own right.  BCS is the lasting legacy of Bungay’s community response to Covid 19.

East Suffolk Community Partnership

Halesworth Volunteers is a member of the Community Partnership covering Bungay, Beccles and Halesworth.  This initiative has supported a number of exciting projects including social events for older people who have lost confidence after the long Pandemic.
