
Halesworth Volunteers work with many local community groups and organisations. That means that if we can’t help you, we know someone who can.
Our programme of social activities including tea parties and trips out would not be possible without the continued grant funding, the latest of which has been awarded by the National Lottery. We are also particularly grateful to the fantastic team at HACT who provide the Hoppa bus and make these trips possible.
The Pear Tree Centre are leading the wonderful Compassionate Communities Project, working with Kinda Education, the Blyth Valley Team Ministry and many others this project looks at ways that we can think and talk about death and dying as well as providing support to people facing bereavement.
Halesworth Volunteers is a member of the Community Partnership covering Bungay, Beccles and Halesworth. This initiative has supported a number of exciting projects including social events for older people who have lost confidence after the long Pandemic.
