Please note, we will not be hosting our usual monthly quiz tomorrow, Wednesday 21st January at The Stables, as the Angel will be closed.We were deeply saddened by the passing of our wonderful Quiz Master, Nigel Plummer, just before Christmas. Nigel ran our monthly quiz for almost 10 years, helping to raise regular funds for HV. We will continue the HV quiz in memory of Nigel. Our thoughts are with Sylvia and family at this terribly sad time. Nigel's funeral is being held next Wednesday 28th January at midday at St Marys Church, Halesworth. Suffolk Sky Dive Raises £2,000 for Halesworth Charity

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of our new recipe book "A Larder Full of Recipes" which is now available to purchase on Amazon! We give grateful thanks for funding from Suffolk Community Foundation for our Chef Amanda Project through which we have been able to produce this fantastic cook book. The book has been written by one of our wonderful volunteers, Amanda Veal, who has pulled together recipes that are affordable, easy to replicate and family favourites, in order to support visitors to Halesworth Community Larder, giving ideas for recipes using the produce we have seasonally throughout the year. The cookbook has been a community project and includes guest recipes from local businesses and organisations. The cover was designed, through a competition, by some of the children at Edgar Sewter School, with the winning entry and cover design by Leah - Well done Leah! We love your design for our book. All nine entries are featured in the book. All proceeds from the book will go to the Community Larder and further support our local community. We have lots of exciting events planned over the next few months at the Larder, including cooking demonstrations and recipe cards. We will keep you updated over the next few weeks. What a brilliant idea! Is anybody interested in a guided walk from Brampton Station to Halesworth Station? Maybe catch the train to Brampton and then do the walk back to Halesworth. Walking up an appetite for some lunch in Halesworth!
