We welcomed some of our lovely ladies and gentlemen to afternoon tea at Halesworth Day Centre this afternoon. We enjoyed some good company, sandwiches, cheese scones, sausage rolls and lots of cake! Thanks to Jackie for use of the Day Centre and to our wonderful volunteers who baked, prepared and served food. John & Charlotte visited fareshare today in Ipswich and had a tour of the warehouse and a good chat about how it all works. We get a delivery from fareshare twice a month, all produce which would have been disposed of, for reasons ranging from incorrect labelling, use by dates and surplus to needs.
